donorcycle
Today as Matt zipped into his motorcycle gear for his commute to work, he told me: a coworker of his used to be an EMT, and as an EMT they called motorcycles "donorcycles", due to the quantity of fresh organ donors found from motorcycle accidents.

That is awesome and kinda horrifying.

Yeah, my sister, a doctor, refers to them as donor bikes.

My cousin who is a pretty tough guy (he served in Iraq) got hit by a bus while on his motorcycle and was in the hospital for some time with severe injuries including a head injury. He's OK now but it wasn't really clear that he would be.

I worked in an emergency room for a few years and, though I never heard this term (it wasn't a trauma ER), it doesn't surprise me.

I keep trying to think of a way to put this delicately, but there just isn't one, so: when someone shits themselves, they call that a "Code Brown".

"Code Brown" is also the radio call for overflowing toilet at the nightclub.

A guy I know who was an EMT told me the two codes for a suicide attempt by cutting are "across the street" and "down the road," depending on which way you cut. "Down the road," obviously being the more life-threatening.

Some motorcycle-related slang I heard recently: street crayon. It's for people that are reckless or don't wear the appropriate safety gear. I assume the reasons are obvious.
